He was born on November 6, 1933 in Sheridan, the son of Von S. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Annabelle L. Stout Posey; and one brother, Richard “Buckshot” Stout. Melnyk and all the doctors and nurses from Hendrick Hospital North and Hendrick Hospice Care for their love and support. After graduating from high school in Carmel, California, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Konawa resident Renee Lenor Williams passed away Sunday, December 6, 2022 at her home. Renee, the daughter of Clyde and Betty Lou Williams, was born February 27, 1975, in Talihina, Oklahoma. She worked as a nurse’s aide at nursing homes, until her health no longer allowed her to work. Renee enjoyed shopping, whether that meant a day at the mall or looking for bargains at garage sales. She also liked playing her music and watching movies. Donna Elizabeth Ingram, age 75 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away December 5, 2022 at Heritage Skilled Nursing Home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

On Aug. 8, 1950, he married AnnElla Ford, and she preceded him in death on June 3, 2017. Dennis Dale Downs, 74, Kokomo, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022, at his home. He was born October 14, 1948, in Marion, IN, the son of the late Wilbur Dale & Teletha Bell Downs. Dennis was a 1965 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He attended Indiana University at Kokomo and Cleveland Institute of Electronics. He worked for a time at Honeywell, but then returned to farming with his dad and brothers.
